Hello my Friends!!! It's been a while!!!! I'm feeling a lot leaner since we last spoke. I'm still lifting weights at Deville Y and combining that with Pilates Reformer and DDP Yoga at home. The Metro Jackson YMCA has a special going on until December 24th. $25/mo. membership. Take advantage of it while you can. I am about 6 lbs. lighter since we last spoke. I am drinking a Shakeology drinks in the Morning. http://www.shakeology.com/en_US/ This is a meal replacement which helps crush food cravings. Good to have during the Holidays. I know I ate bad at Thanksgiving and I'm sure I'll eat some bad stuff next week for Christmas. However, staying in a regular routine is good so you do have the rare opportunities to cheat. It's not about Perfection, It's about Progress. That's what I keep telling myself.
In addition to working again on a Regular basis at the Deville Y, next month (year) I will be returning to the Jackson/Hinds Library System in a small capacity at the Metro Center Book Sale on Wednesdays. Come check it out at the Metro Center Mall. All Books are under $3.00!!!! There is even a Free Section up front. Meanwhile, I will continue to see what is available at the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. I am running the Possum Ridge Train there for a couple of DAtes this Holiday Season as I have before. Possum Ridge is a fictional Mississippi Delta Town. I will weight my options between contractual jobs at the Archives and part-time openings at certain brances with the Jackson/Hinds Library System. Meanwhile, I'm back to duties at the Good Ol' YMCA. Come join before the Special is Over. When you belong to one Y, you belong to all Metro Ys. Good Deal. In addition, you can use Y's when you go out of town. The Y is where I stay in shape so I highly recommend it.
I've gotten word that the long awaited Documentary "The Resurrection of Jake "the Snake" Roberts will be premiering at the Slam Dance Film Festival Next Month. I'm so proud of the Man and how far he's come!!!! DDP saved his life for sure!!!! http://411mania.com/wrestling/various-news-jake-roberts-documentary-set-for-slamdance-film-festival-wwe-network-technical-issue-and-more/

Since I've been dabbling in both endeavors, I see fit to refer myself to the Exercising Librarian/Archivist!!! Happy Holidays to All!!!! Hope everyones Football Team Wins!!!!

Been a while...Major Updates..Please Read
Hello my Friends!!! Wow, it's been a while. Unfortunately, I was not chosen for the Historic Resources Specialist position at the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. However, I am still encouraged to apply for future positions. In addition, I will be helping run the Possum Ridge Train in December at the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. Possum Ridge is a fictional Mississippi Delta town from times past. Its always a great attraction every holiday season. I enjoyed running it two years ago and look forward to running it again. In addition, I will be helping out with the Christmas by Candlelight. Due to some changes, I got a little stalled on researching my Dad's Memorabilia. However, I was going through his Correspondence the other day and found an article on legendary Mississippi Senator John C. Stennis the day he passed, very interesting.
I am transitioning to working back at the Deville Y in Northeast Jackson. I have one more weekend of dates at the Downtown Y. The Deville Y was the first Y I started out at in 2008 and look forward to seeing many old faces I've been devoted to the Metro Jackson Y and their causes for over 6 years and still plan to do so. As far as my workouts, I pinched a nerve about a month ago and had to stop lifting heavy for a while. I first went to DDP Yoga but then started doing some Pilates Reformer. Pilates Reformer is a very good Exercise Class to maintain your flexibility and your strength in your lower body. I highly recommend it to both Men and Women. Meanwhile, I've been training light on the weights but will slowly progress back. I've started eating cleaner than before allowing myself maybe 2-3 cheat meals a week. I wish to get back to 225lbs. eventually. It will be tough with the Holiday Seasons coming up.
Congrats to Mississippi Teams for Wonderful Performance. I hope Southern Miss wins tomorrow and their Black Out Game Next Week as the season hasnt been as successful for them. Southern Miss To the Top!!! Was Rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals but now am rooting for the Giants!!!
Election Time is coming!!
Saw Charlie Daniels at the Fair Yeeee Hawww. Next Concert, Motley Crue with Alice Cooper in Biloxi, Can't Wait!!!!
Anybody Know of any Pug Rescues, I'm interested. I love Pugs. Mom's Dogs Coco and Romeo and My Neighbor's Dog Mouse keep me busy but I need one of my own to stay with me in the House!!!
Enjoying watching Horror Movies and Reading Stephen King Novels HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!

Still here
Hello my friends, I havent posted anything in a month but I'm still here. I've been doing light weight workouts in addition to some DDP Yoga. People have commented that I'm looking leaner. I just gotta watch the sweet tooth, it's a problem of mine.
As you may recall from my previous post, I applied for a Historic Resources Specialist position with the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. I had a phone interview two weeks ago and will be notified either way concerning a face to face interview. Let's hope for the best. Meanwhile, I have finally began research into my father's political career. I have begun reviewing the Oral History he did with the University of Southern Mississippi to start a basis for how I will organize his photographs. Here is a link to the oral history if you are interested http://digilib.usm.edu/cdm/ref/collection/coh/id/8753
Meanwhile, I've upped my part time hours at the Downtown Y.
I was supposed to go with my Mom to a cemetery in Fayette, MS on Labor Day to visit my Great-Great Grandfather's grave but didnt end up going. I've been doing additional genealogical research on my family. My Great Great Grandfather David Stanton Burch was a Captian in the Confederacy during the Civil War. After doing research I found out he was part of the 7th Regt. Mississippi Infirmary.
Kudos to all those that completed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Such a worthy cause. Until we meet again friends!!!

Changes and a Positive Outlook on the Future
Hello my friends!! As you may recall from the previous post, there are many changes going in my life at the moment. After a year with the Jackson/Hinds Library System, I made the personal decision to pursue Archival endeavors. I will still support the Jackson/Hinds Library System and would like to return to read to the children when given a chance. I applied last week for a position with the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. Even if I am not offered the position, I am going to devote my time to an Archival Project with my late father's political memorabilia. If given the position, I can devote my time to both.
Meanwhile, I am still maintaining my part time duties to the Metro Jackson Y. They will always be a part of my life. I'll be attending the YMCA Luck of the Draw Event Friday in support of the Deville Y. This is the Y that got me started with the organization and I will always be grateful to it.
Today, I return to weights at the Deville Y and will work out Chest. I know I'm gonna be sore. As far as my future career and fitness endeavors, I look at it in the most positive light. Dont let other people's opinions influence your decision or outlook on life. Only you knows whats best for you. Believe in yourself and think positively. Just watch this Video on Arthur, another man whose life Dallas Page saved through DDP Yoga and positive living.

Major Updates!!!!
Hello My Friends!!! This may be the final time I address you as the Exercising Librarian. I am now moving on to other professional duties. After a year working with the Jackson/Hinds Library System, I have decided to pursue Archival Work. I am applying for a position with the Mississippi Department of Archives and History where I interned one year ago. Even if I am not offered the position, I shall finally begin the project of archiving my late father's political memorabilia. I will now be referred to as the Exercising Archivist.
Meanwhile, I am still working with the Metro Jackson Y and will be working today 1-5 at the Downtown Y. My workouts have still been at the Deville Y. I am thinking of working on Mastering the DDP Yoga Moves before advancing to DDP's advanced workouts.
Yesterday, I helped out with a gracious event The Mississippi Bodybuilding, Figure, Bikini and Physique Championships benefiting the Mississippi School for the Deaf. This was my 10th year helping out and I enjoyed it. Here is a picture attached

Still Here
Hello Everyone!!! I'm Still Here. It's been a long time since I've posted anything. I am now working at the Quisenberry Library in Clinton helping with Circulation and with the Youth Department. I read a Dr. Seuss book tomorrow as a matter of fact. I am off today which is why I'm posting. I am still at the Downtown Y but starting next week will only be working on Sundays. After working for such a gracious organization for six years, I want to continue my service with them.
I just returned to the weights this week at the Deville Y after a brief hiatus. During my hiatus, I focused on Mastering DDP Yoga. I was able to get my body used to some of the Diamond Dozen Yoga Moves that Dallas has. My balance has never been real great so I still need to work on some. After mastering the 30 minute Below the Belt, I then got my Body used to the 50 minute Diamond Cutter Workout. You talk about working out a sweat. I returned to weights this week at Deville Y and am sore. I'll be helping out with the 2014 NPC Mississippi Bodybuilding and Figure Championships. Here is the URL for more information

DDPTV did a Video Portraying Dallas Page's Wrestlemania Weekend which included the DDP Yoga Workshop I partook in, Wrestlecon and the inductions of Jake "the Snake" Roberts and Scott Hall into the WWE Hall of Fame. At the Yoga Workshop you can see me in the Batman Shirt.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dS8iK8RFafA

Updates Please Read
Hello Everyone!!! A lot has transpired since my last Update. I am now 30 years old. I completed my first DDP Yoga class last week in New Orleans. My mom had her last surgery and is going through the final recovery phases.
I had a long but fun weekend in New Orleans last weekend to celebrate my 30th birthday. DDP Yoga, Wrestlecon, WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony and Wrestlemania 30 at the Supderdome. It was all worth it.
The DDP Yoga class was new to me but I learned a lot. Diamond Dallas Page was very interactive with the everyone taking the class. I am currently watching the Videos as we speak and am trying to Master the Art of Breathing properly before I start doing DDP Yoga on a regular basis. I ate terrible in New Orleans and I've paid for it. I learned a lot about Nutrition in a Breakfast Q&A with DDP. I am already starting to eliminate anything with Gluten in it from my Diet. Now that its Spring, I need to start tanning again. I'm Milky White Yuk!!!
I was saddened to hear of the death of Jim Hellwig AKA The Ultimate Warrior. Its strange that I just saw him speak at the New Orleans Arena as the Headlining Inductee in the Hall of Fame and now he's gone. I dont normally get defensive on Social Media but I was disgusted when Nancy Grace tried to point out that Warrior's death was due to Steroids. I am sick of people criticizing an industry that they know absolutely nothing about. I don't like Ballet but I'm not going to jump to Conclusions if someone in that industry dies or any other industry for that matter. RIP Warrior!!!
My Mom had her Final Surgery Thursday and I was in the Hospital All Day. Surgery was successful. The Recovery Process wont be as long as the First One So She's Getting There. I see light at the end of the tunnel.
I am back in the Swing of Things at Eudora Welty Library. Researching and Providing Service to the Public. I'm not involved in any Special Events Yet but will let you know when I am.
Until next time!!!!

Updates/DDP Yoga
Hello my Friends!! It's been a while. Good News, Mom's fracture has healed and she will be having surgery April 10th to take the remaining screws out. She will be on cane for a while but will get back to walking. I see light at the end of the tunnel!!!
I'm still exercising consistently and trying to stick to a reasonable diet Most of the Time at least!! For my Birthday Weekend (My Birthday is April 3rd) I will be attending some events in New Orleans. I will be going to a DDP Yoga Workshop Friday April 4th and a Breakfast April 6th.
Here is link to Workshop

At the Library, I've started reading to the children a good bit. I recently read to the Children at Raines Elementary in Jackson in honor of Dr. Seuss's Birthday. Fox in Socks was my book of choice. I exercise my brain for eight hours in the day and my body for an hour and a half. It's a part of being The Exercising Librarian.

Progress/Rock Star Body
The dieting has paid off. I've officially lost 10 lbs. I am now doing a Full Body Workout Routine During the Week in addition to TRX and Group Exercise Classes. I'm thinking of starting Pilates Reformer at Deville Y to help maintain my flexibility. The Full Body Workout Routine is designed for shedding fat and adding Muscle. It is the Workout of Wolverine's Hugh Jackman. Here is the link http://www.fitnessblender.com/v/article-detail/Hugh-Jackman-Workout-Routine-Fitness-Blender-Wolverine-Workout/95/
While I still endorse Bodybuilding and help out with the promotion of the shows, I no longer strive for the Bodybuilder physique. I now like to strive for the Rock Star Body George Lynch is a good example below.

Entertaining Children/Exercise/Diet
Hello Everyone!!! I've been absent from the Blog for a while now. I recently did a Reading at Medgar Evers Library in Jackson in honor of National Preschool Fitness Day representing both the Jackson/Hinds Library System and the Downtown Y. I read Teddy the Hungry Little Bear by Floyd Stokes. Afterwords, I taught the children some physical activities to stay active including: Parachute Exercises, Hoola-Hoops and Hop-Scotch!!! We then ate fruit and vegetables. I enjoyed my time with the children. I have a special connection with children. In case you haven't noticed, I am one!! Super Librarian Will to the Rescue!!! Some of the children thought I was Superman. I look forward to doing readings for children in the future and promoting physical fitness and health.
I've dropped seven pounds since the beginning of the year. Dieting has been paying off. Cutting back on Dairy Products and Starches helps. I've still got more weight in my Midsection to lose though. I'm still maintaining a regular exercise routine as well.
Here is a picture of me with the children (Courtesy of Jackson/Hinds Library Sytem).

Off to a Good Start
Hello Everyone!!! Well after a week of adjusting somewhat to the diet, I feel good. I'm eating more Natural Foods and less processed. I still have some Wheat Crackers and Protein Bars though. It will take a while to get to a REgular Schedule of the Diet being as I have so much going on right now. I've lost 4 lbs. though and my pants feel looser.
I had to miss TRX Today as I'm working a full day at the Eudora Welty Library. This is so I can take my Mom to the Doctor on Tuesday. He will schedule next surgery.
I hope everyone has a good weekend and remember Body For Life!!!

New Year, Back to TRX, Diet, Mom's Progress, Work and the Future,
Hello My Friends!!! Welcome to 2014!! Well, Its a New Year with New Beginnings. I turn 30 this year in April, Saying Goodbye to my twenties!!! I try not to make New Years Resolutions as they never work. I do try to make goals though.
Today, I returned to the TRX Class. It was enjoyable. I seemed to have more endurance than I expected. My flexibility still isnt up to par though. In addition to weights and cardio during the week, I might implement Yoga and more stretching. It sounds Like a lot but it is possible.
As far as Dieting, I am phasing into a specialized Weekly Diet full of No Dairy Products, Starches, Sweets and Artificial Sweeteners. Its going to be rough since I have a sweet tooth but I've done it before. I will keep you posted on the daily meal plans. If I can get back to atleast a 34 inch waist, that would be fine.
Mom is progressing. Her doctor will set a date in a week for her to have surgery again next month to take the Metal Rods out of her Ankle. Im still making sure she does her exercises every day and look after her the best I can.
Work is going well. The New Year means students are back in school working on Projects. I'm glad to help out. I will have some more information to share on some activities I will be partaking in later this month!!!
