Progressive Working Day

Of Course I can't Update My Blog without commenting on how Exercise affects my Work Ethic.  After Powerlates yesterday evening, I feel ultra relaxed today.  I shifted the DVD Collection Downstairs with ease and am helping Weed out old Reference Books.  We always Work Better If We Are Relaxed.  In my line of work, I have to be in dealing with the Public and Performing Tedious Research!!!!

Flexibility

Had a good Powerlates class at Deville Y.  Im getting more flexible.  Its just hat I need.  Feelgreat.  Teacher taught us something new called the Scorpion.  Its not as intense as it sounds.  it does involve a lot of leg movement though.  Im getting the body back!!!

Getting better

I did Powerlates last night at Deville Y.  I'm developing more flexibility and getting better cardiovascular conditioning.  It's hard keeping up but I'm doing my best.

TRX Part 2

Did TRX for the second time today.  Im getting more used to it.  I still need to work on my stretching.  I feel relaxed and rejuvenated though.  Ready for the rest of the day!!!

Plateau

There comes a time in any person's fitness goals where they reach a plateau.  Someone cant lose any more weight, cant gain more muscle, can't gain more flexibility.  My friends, in regards to losing weight, I feel I have reached this plateau.  My work ethic in the gym has always been better than my dieting.  While I have cut out Carbs and Sugar, I still digest a lot of Sodium which builds Water Weight.  It's a hard thing to give up as I have cravings for these types of Foods and Diet Coke.  Lets hope I can try to overcome these urges.  I'm teetering at 245 lbs. and that's 10 lbs. less than what I was this summer.

I worked out Legs Monday and started doing Modified Squats (All the years of dropping to my knees has done its damage).  Worked out Chest yesterday at Deville Y and feel good today.

I have finally broken into my Reference Position.  Started off to be a busy day helping patrons but that only motivates me more!!!!

Been a few days!!!!

Hello my Friends!!!  It's been a few days!!!!  Haven't done any Pilates or Aerobics classes the rest of this week after I did Powerlates on Monday.  However, done weights on Cardio the rest of the week!!!  I still need to focus on stretching!!!  I'm working at Eudora Welty Library 1-5pm today!!!  Look forward to helping patrons and performing research!!!

Exercise Class

I did a Powerlates Class at Deville Y yesterday.  I am sore!!!!  I definitely need to start stretching a lot more.  The past ten years of focusing strictly on Weight Lifting and Running has made me stiff as a board!!!  One step at a time, I'm gonna try and get my Flexibility back.  Since my legs are so sore, I'm gonna do a Chest Workout this evening!!!  Keep moving forward!!!!!

After the Weekend

Well, I weighed myself Friday before a Workout at Deville Y, I was down to 245 lbs.  That's a ten pound loss in a month and a half.  However, I went to State Fair Friday evening and splurged a little too much.  Who could blame me?  Weight as of Saturday was 248!!!  I'm going to up my protein intake as I might be losing muscle mass with weight.

I'm enjoying a semibusy day at Eudora Welty Library!!!  Still waiting on some interesting questions to research for patrons!!  It's my passion!!!

Tonight, it's Legs workout!!!!  Tomorrow, Thinking about trying out Yoga class in Morning for the first time.  I think I will be more relaxed throughout the day Working!!!

Tuesday's Gone

Well, my working day at Eudora Welty is almost complete!!  It's been another productive day at a job I very much enjoy. I've learned a lot the first month and have become acquainted with the reference process.  I successfully helped three people find books today as well as dozens of people over the phone.  The seasons are changing and the temperature is dropping slightly!!!  I havent weighed myself lately but feel much lighter.  Gonna hit Back and Biceps at Deville Y!!  Push it Push it!!!!
